Due to the fact that I could not make a connection between the function of a hair dryer and a bird, I started to brainstorm more and came up with a better idea. Since I am seemingly obsessed with all aspects of the ocean, I began to think of bio-luminescence. I thought I could possibly mash up a light bulb with something that was naturally able to produce light. I began coming up with sketches and took various pictures of lamps and light bulbs. Ultimately, I have committed to the idea of creating an underwater "lounge area" where a scuba diver is reading by the light of a jelly fish lamp.
